Relatively new and already receiving kudos from Toronto patrons, Hernando’s Hideaway is located across from the flat iron building in the heart of downtown. Get ready for a blaze of color surrounding you. While the saffron, turquoise and lime green accents are visually attractive, it’s the margaritas that take your breath away. Gaze at papier-mache lizards while you chow down on chili con carne, enchilada, fajitas and quesadillas. Be sure to admire Toronto artist Lupe Rodriguez’s landscapes as you head for the tequila bar. Open for lunch and dinner daily, the Hideaway is not wheelchair accessible.
