1. Although The PIER consists of two floors, it’s easy to
visit the whole museum in one visit. The kids will want to
spend more time at the interactive displays and play areas
in the Discovery Zone.
2. Of less interest may be the displays on the shaping of
Toronto Bay or the interactive exhibit dealing with the
relationship between Canada and its marine trading partners.
3. "Fun Day Mondays" are a special day at The PIER. Each
Monday throughout the summer, children can participate in
hands-on crafts with a marine theme.
4. Take advantage of a 25% off coupon available on the
following website: www.torontohistory.on.ca/thepier/coupon.html.
Print up the coupon, fill it out and present it when paying
admission.
5. No food is available at the attraction, but as it’s
located on the waterfront there’s no shortage of
restaurants and food vendors.
