Inside Tips:

Visiting is by guided tour only. Tours start on the hour, every 45 minutes on weekends. Pictures are allowed, but check with historical interpreters before you videotape audio-visual presentations.

With six acres of restored gardens, Spadina is the perfect place to enjoy a picnic lunch. Don't miss the delightful gift shop and wallpaper exhibit. Look for the archaelogical display, which tells the story of the 1818 home that burned down on the same site.

Spadina is pronounced "spa-DEE-na" - not "spa-DYE-na."
