Overview     Tips     Virtual Tour     Exhibits

1. Guided tours of the ROM's regular and temporary exhibits are available throughout the year; however, times vary according to season. Tours can be arranged upon arrival. Just ask at the information counter or call (416) 586-5549.

2. Children love the Discovery Gallery, where they can dress up in costumes, play games, check out specimens under microscopes, dig for fossils, and lots more. And while you're at it, don't miss Franklin's World (based on the popular storybook turtle), the remarkable Egyptian mummy exhibition and the Bat Cave.

3. ROM Walks take you through various points of historical and cultural interest in Toronto. Just call the museum for the starting time and place and, once you arrive there, look for the volunteer guide carrying a blue umbrella - rain or shine. Don't forget to pack your sneakers! For schedule and location, call (416) 586-5549. Most ROM Walks are free.

4. If you get hungry for lunch, stop by the Druxy's Cafeteria for delicious deli food, salads and soup. And for a more elegant dining experience, the museum is home to J.K. at the ROM, where renowned chef Jamie Kennedy has added to his reputation for excellent cuisine.
