This theater and its resident production company have a mandate to produce gay and lesbian theme plays. Not dialectic rants, mind you, but honest productions dealing with alternative lifestyles in today’s society. Keep in mind you don’t have to be part of this "alternative lifestyle" to appreciate the plays. (Toronto is considered to have the third largest gay population in North America after San Francisco and New York). This theater also features some of the funniest gay stand-up comics for special evening and weekend presentations.
