Under Finnish Music Director Jukka-Pekka Saraste, the TSO has soared in bothpopularity and season ticket sales with its concerts not only in the luxurious Roy Thomson Hall, but also with its outdoor ‘pop’ performances at Ontario Place and Harbourfront Centre. The TSO’s Messiah is always a sold out success and in addition to their classical offerings, they also invite guest artists such as Broadway singer Bernadette Peters, Cellist Yo-Yo Ma and Celtic fiddler Natalie McMaster to join the company in the special Pops and Casual Concerts series.
