To and From the Airport:
A cab from the airport may cost you anywhere from $35-$50,
depending on how far into the city you wish to go. On the
other hand, taking a taxi may be considerably less expensive
and equally as convenient as riding one of the airport
shuttle buses, which will deliver you to your hotel or one
of three major subway drop-off points across the city. The
subway connection and drop-off points are: Islington
subway in the west end, Yorkdale subway in the
northwest and York Mills subway in the north end.
The shuttle bus and taxi stand areas are easily
identified with overhead signs as you exit the
"Arrivals" area. Also, all buses are wheelchair
accessible and have front kneeling doors for easier access.
Shuttles provide 24-hour service daily, with pick-ups every
20 to 30 minutes, depending on the time of day. There is
plenty of room for luggage underneath the buses, but
travelers do most of the handling themselves -- both loading
and unloading. The shuttle service covers most of the
downtown hotels.
Specific fares are as follows: Islington $7.10 one way,
$11.50 return; Yorkdale $7.60 one way, $13.15 return; York
Mills $8.70 one way, $13.90 return; downtown $13.75 one way,
$23.65 return. Students and seniors receive a 10% discount.
